Command-Line Interface (CLI)

In French: interface de ligne de commande.

It is a textual interface that processes commands to a computer program. There are different command line interfaces, such as DOL and Shell Bash. CLIs are included in various operating systems, such as Window and OS X, but tend to be replaced by Graphic User Interfaces (GUIs).
